144 - 201 (of 214)

#144 - Loft Crag, #145 - Pike O'Stickle, #146 - Harrison Stickle, #147 - Pavey Ark, #148 - Thunacar Knott, #149 - High Raise & #150 - Sergeant Man
completed on 25th May 2015

A fantastic day of walking with Simon and Sharon - 7 fells in the day, and it really brightened up later in the day, allowing us to enjoy Stickle Tarn in tranquility as the majority of the walkers and tourists had already descended.

#151 - Low Pike & #152 - High Pike
completed on 26th May 2015

#153 - Wansfell
completed on 27th May 2015

#154 - Silver How & #155 - Blea Rigg
completed on 28th May 2015

#156 - Bowfell, #157 - Esk Pike, #158 - Great End & #159 - Rossett Pike
completed on 30th May 2015

I met a lovely lady called Alison on the way up to Bowfell from the Band - she accompanied me for the whole walk and was kind enough to take pictures of me as I'd forgotten my tripod!

#160 - Burnbank Fell, #161 - Blake Fell, #162 - Gavel Fell & #163 - Hen Comb
completed on 3rd June 2015

Walking with my friend Laura - not as dry as forecast!

#164 - Base Brown
completed on 4th June 2015

Only 50 fells left to climb!  Getting very close now :)

#165 - Mungrisdale Common, #166 - Bannerdale Crags, #167 - Bowscale Fell & #168 - Souther Fell

completed on 8th June 2015

Walking with a friend called Jenn (she walked up Great Mell Fell with my family on 27th December).  Our first duo walk together, and we had a great time - great weather and fantastic company, and to the pub for dinner!

#169 - Seathwaite Fell, #170 - Allen Crags, #171 - Glaramara & #172 - Rosthwaite Fell (Bessyboot)
completed on 10th June 2015

A steaming hot day and we were out for about 10 hours - fantastic views and great weather, but a bit too hot at times.  And the getting to the summits of Glaramara and Bessyboot was arduous and frustrating - the number of false summits was huge!  Grrrrr...

#173 - Hard Knott
completed on 11th June 2015

Only took about 40 minutes to climb, but we spent nearly 2 hours at the summit chatting away and admiring the view.  Then to the Roman Fort for a bit of touristing.

#174 - Wetherlam, #175 - Swirl How, #176 - Great Carrs & #177 - Grey Friar
completed on 14th June 2015

In contrast, the weather on this walk was miserable!  However, there was a fell race (something along the lines of Iron Man) and there were a number of very fit young men running past. Lightened the mood a bit!

#178 - Brae Fell
completed on 15th June 2015

My family came up for their holidays and my dad and sister, Rebekah, joined me on a walk behind Skiddaw.  Cloudy and cool - ideal walking conditions.  However, not impressed that my sister attached a dog's lead to my rucksack and made me pull her up the hill!

#179 - The Nab
completed on 16th June 2015

A great father-daughter walk to the Nab.  Had been a bit nervous because of the peat hags, but we were rewarded by a huge herd of deer running over the fell - stunning sight!

#180 - Dow Crag, #181 - Brim Fell & #182 - Coniston Old Man
completed on 18th June 2015

I got a little emotional on the summit of Coniston - the weather forecast had been set for improving conditions and 'moderate' visibility, and I'd been fairly optimistic, but when faced with what I would count as very poor visibility I was fairly disappointed.  I'm going to ascend the Old Man again some time in the near future.

#183 - Castle Crag
completed on 19th June 2015

Got the entire family out - a fantastic day and the only ever time that we've had the summit to ourselves!

#184 - Bakestall & #185 - Great Calva
completed on 20th June 2015

No pictures yet - but watch this space!  We ascended in horrible weather, so dad took a few snaps on his phone for each summit - I'm yet to collect these, but when I do, they'll be on here.

#186 - Mardale Ill Bell, #187 - Rampsgill Head, #188 - Kidsty Pike, #189 - High Raise, #190 - Wether Hill, #191 - Loadpot Hill, #192 - Bonscale Pike & #193 - Arthur's Pike
completed on 22nd June 2015

8 fells in a day - a linear walk, starting from Hartsop and ending in Pooley Bridge (for a pint!).  Had a bit of all types of weather really, but all in all a very productive and enjoyable day spent with my dad (Tim) and Jenn.

#194 - Branstree & #195 - Selside Pike
completed on 25th June 2015

It was a miserable day, but that wasn't going to stop me and my dad from walking!  We walked up from Mardale Head where we left my mum and sister with the dog, and walked over the ridge and back down from the Old Corpse Road to the Haweswater Hotel.

#196 - Yewbarrow
completed on 30th June 2015

Sharon and I met a man called Jonathan who is training for a walk raising money for Macmillan this August - the 'Your Walk, Your Wainwright' campaign.  He plans to walk Blencathra on 19th of August 2015.  Lovely chap, we helped him climb the scramble up Bell Rib as he was getting a little daunted.  Great day :)

#197 - Harter Fell, #198 - Kentmere Pike & #199 - Shipman Knotts
completed on 1st July 2015

Planking on Kentmere Pike (above).  Hot, humid day with some really interesting cloud formations!  And lots and lots of horseflies on the descent.

#200 - High Pike & #201 - Carrock Fell
completed on 9th July 2015

Walking with Laura and Alex, from Calebreck through the quarry workings onto the summit of High Pike, then following the ridge along to Carrock Fell - a really interesting walk with lots of different types of terrain, even a little scrambling on the descent of Carrock Fell back to the road.

And that's me up to date (as of 12/07/15).  No more walking planned until August, and I hope to be finishing my fell journey by 29th August on Pillar - but who knows?!  Hope you've enjoyed the photos, and apologies for the delay in uploading them.
