But then I found that blogging was a great way of getting rid of stress: I would make something and then would really like to share it with other people. In the same way that I would share my revision cards with people at school, I wanted to share how I made the things that I did. Whether this was a costume for The Hobbit in cinema, or a Jane Eyre themed Christmas cake, it didn't really matter, but I really enjoyed working on lots of different projects.
And now that my exams are over, and my Gap Year has begun, I am hoping to embark on a number of challenges that I am going to share with you. This includes a 3 day hike across Dartmoor with my best friend, visiting a huge number of tors; a year of walks around beautiful Lakeland, reaching the summit of 214 peaks (Wainwright's); and an attempt at learning the violin. Meanwhile I will be blogging, photographing, and maybe attempting a vlog or two.
So, join me as I embark on a huge adventure in 2014-15 and feel free to read, comment and share - I'd love to hear from you!
